Freightable GmbH is not legally required to appoint a Data Protection Officer under Art. 37 GDPR and § 38 BDSG. For all data protection inquiries, please contact us directly at admin@freightable.ai.
When you submit a demo request, we collect: full name, company name, work email address, phone number (optional), company size, and any information you provide in the free-text field.
Purpose: To respond to your demo request and schedule a demonstration of our platform.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — processing is necessary for the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request.
Retention: 24 months from submission, or until you request deletion. If a customer relationship develops, data is retained for the duration of the contract plus the applicable statutory limitation period (§§ 195 ff. BGB — generally 3 years).
If you contact us by email (admin@freightable.ai), we process the personal data contained in your message — typically name and email address — and any additional information you choose to share.
Purpose: To respond to your inquiry.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in responding to inbound communications. Where your message concerns a pre- or post-contractual matter, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR applies.
Retention: 3 years from the date of the last exchange, unless a longer statutory retention period applies.
When you visit our website, our hosting infrastructure automatically logs technical information including your IP address (truncated), browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps.
Purpose: To ensure the security and correct functioning of the website and to detect and prevent abuse.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional website.
Retention: Maximum 7 days, then deleted automatically.
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 Pine Street, Suite 701, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA. Vercel operates data centres in Europe; our deployment is configured to process data within the EU/EEA. Freightable and Vercel have entered into a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) including EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs, Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914) to ensure adequate protection for any transfers to the United States.
Demo inquiry data is shared only with members of the Freightable team directly responsible for handling the inquiry. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
This website does not use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or similar). No tracking of visitor behaviour is performed beyond the server logs described in Section 3.3.
This website uses only technically necessary cookies — cookies that are essential for the proper functioning of the website (e.g., session management, security). They do not track you across websites and are placed without your prior consent pursuant to § 25(2) TTDSG.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or any cookies that require your consent under § 25(1) TTDSG. No cookie consent banner is shown because none is legally required.
