What is Freightable?

Freightable is a tariff and quoting platform with a white-label client portal, built for NVOCCs and freight forwarders. It consolidates buy and sell rate management, multi-leg quoting, hazmat compliance, pallet planning, and AI quoting tools in one platform.

Who is Freightable for?

NVOCCs and freight forwarders running air, ocean, rail, or road operations, particularly those who manage agent and client networks and need a branded platform for their customers.

What is a white-label client portal in freight forwarding?

A white-label client portal lets NVOCCs and freight forwarders offer their clients and agents a branded, modern digital experience under their own company name, not a generic software interface. Clients receive quotes, track shipments, and manage bookings through a portal that carries the forwarder's brand.

How does the hazmat segregation tool work?

The Hazardous Materials module checks whether cargo is acceptable at your warehouse based on UN number and hazmat class, and whether multiple hazardous items can be combined in the same container according to IMDG segregation rules. An AI document reader can extract UN number, class, and packing group directly from uploaded MSDS or DGD files.

What is Smart Quote and how is it different from generic AI?

Smart Quote accepts shipment requests by voice or plain text and returns live quotation options within seconds. Unlike generic AI tools, Smart Quote is backed by proprietary freight calculation logic and metrics built by German NVOCCs, rates and calculations come from your own tariff library, not the internet.

Does Freightable handle pallet planning for freight forwarders?

Yes. The Palletizer module calculates how many cartons fit per pallet at a given target height. It applies German calculation standards and is suitable for any trade lane, import or export. It is particularly useful for pricing teams quoting loose-carton shipments.

What transport modes does Freightable support?

Freightable supports air, ocean, rail, and road freight. Rate management and quoting tools cover all four modes, and Smart Quote handles LCL, FCL, air, and road quoting in plain language.

How does Freightable handle tariff and rate management?

Rates are stored in a centralized library, versioned with validity windows, and made available multi-currency with daily FX updates. Carrier rate sheets can be imported via the AI Tariff Import module, which reads PDFs, Excel files, and scanned images automatically.

Can agents manage their own clients inside Freightable?

Yes. The platform supports an agent-oversees-agent hierarchy, where agents can manage their own client networks within the platform, all under the overarching brand of the NVOCC or freight forwarder.

Is Freightable integrated with other logistics systems?

Freightable offers a native integration with CargoWise, enabling quote-to-shipment workflows with customer and tariff synchronization.
